Frequently asked questions
Do I need a slush machine?
No. With ice cubes and an ordinary blender you're done in two minutes. If you do have a slush machine, the syrup works just as well in it — simply add water at a 1:5 ratio.
How much slush does one set make?
A set of 4 × 0.75 L makes up to 18 litres of slush — around 100 cups of 0.18 L. Use the litre calculator above to see it for your pack.
Is this suitable for children?
Yes — because of what isn't in it. No azo dyes: for six of these colourings, the label must warn that they may affect activity and attention in children. You won't find that warning on our bottles, because they aren't in there. No glycerine and no alcohol. And you decide how sweet it is: more water and ice makes the slush milder.
How should I store the syrup?
Cool and dark, a kitchen cupboard is ideal. The syrup doesn't like direct sun or heat — colour and flavour suffer. Once opened, keep the bottle in the fridge.
